  • פלטפורמה פתוחה (Open Systems, (Open Standards and Open Source Solutions המבוססת פורטל, הכוללת מאות אפליקציות מוכנות להתקנה מיידית ולשימוש על גבי הסביבה המבצעית הנוכחית, ויכולת לבנות יישומים מבצעיים באופן עצמאי על פי צורך. תינתן סקירת יישומי GIS צבאיים מארה"ב ומהעולם בנושאי מודיעין וביטחון אשר פותחו על בסיס הפלטפורמה הפתוחה תוך סקירת מגוון האפליקציות המוכנות לשימוש עבור השוק הצבאי
  • תמיכה מלאה בזמן אמת, תלת ממד, תצלומים והדמאות – הצגת יכולות תלת מימד D 3 Web GIS ו- יכולות Real Time GIS ובכלל זה יכולת עדכון בסיס נתונים אורבני בזמן אמת ממקורות ויזינט ואחרים, יצירת ויזואליזציה בתלת מימד והנגשתה לשותפים/צרכנים, ניתוח שטח זמן אמת על גבי הסביבה בדרג הטקטי, יכולת הזנת מידע עדכני מהשטח בחזרה לדרג המטכ"לי (סביבה טקטית <-> סביבה מטכ"לית). הצגת יכולות Imagery מתקדמות לניהול מאגרי ראסטר גדולים, וביצוע עיבודים on-the-fly בזמני תגובה מעולים, וניתוחים ראסטריים מתקדמים.
  • מערכת לומדת – מעבר מהמודיעין המסורתי המציג תמונה של המציאות, למודיעין המשפיע על המציאות, בעזרת למידת מכונה Machine Learning ואלגוריתמיקה מתקדמת לניתוחים מרחביים Advanced Analytics. יכולת תחקור BIG DATA להבנה ולחיזוי תופעות ואירועים שונים, שימוש בתבניות קשרים ובמנועים גיאוגרפיים מתקדמים לחשיפת איתורים לא מוכרים ועוד.
  • סביבה לקבלת החלטות – BI גיאוגרפי רב עוצמה, דשבורד זמן אמת למפקדים וכו'. פתרונות הנותנים תמונה מלאה ואמינה של המציאות בזמן אמת.

המרצים

John Day
Director International Government Business Development, Esri Inc.

Mr. Day has over 30 years of experience in defense and intelligence as both active duty military and as a defense contractor. His military service includes counter-terrorism activities in Northern Ireland, maneuver warfare in West Germany, and geospatial support within an operational NATO Corps headquarters.
With Esri he has advised the US Defense and Intelligence Community on how commercial geospatial technologies and solutions translate to defense solutions for the warfighter and as part of national intelligence systems. He is now the Director of International Government Business Development, supporting customers requiring national multi-agency, multi-mission solutions not only for defense and intelligence, but also national mapping and public safety. Mr. Day is a former British Army officer commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He has masters degrees in Engineering from Cambridge University, England and in GIS from Edinburgh University, Scotland.

Nick Sutherland,
European Defence and Intelligence Business Develop Executive, Esri

Mr. Sutherland has over 30 years’ experience in the defence and intelligence sector. With 23 years military service in the British Army he filled leadership roles notably as Deputy Director of the UK Defence Geographic Centre providing GEOINT and services to operation, and was lead Staff Officer in the SHAPE, NATO. He has deployed on operational tours to Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Kosovo and on major exercises in Kenya, Cyprus, the United States and Norway.
As a defence contractor he has a detailed understanding of the Esri Platform and its deployment into an Enterprise setting both from a UK national perspective as well as working with other mission and international partners. He has worked with NATO, European and UK MOD Special Projects and GEOINT organisations to define policy, vision and strategy relevant to the organization. From a delivery perspective he has delivered Enterprise GIS solutions into the Malaysian MOD and Deployable GEOINT into the UK component of the Five Eyes GEOINT capability.
He joined the Esri European National Government Team as the Business Development Executive for Defence and Intelligence in October 2017. He holds a MSC in Defence Geospatial Information and a BSc in Geography from Durham University England.

Jo Fraley,
Senior Solution Engineer National Government Team, Esri Inc.

Jo has over 25 years’ experience working with GIS of which 18 years has been spent supporting Esri Inc Defense and Intelligence customers.
Jo completed a math degree with a focus on computer science and while at college spent 2 years in a Robotics Lab at Oak Ridge National Lab, programming robots to learn using neural networks. After college she worked in the GIS group at the Tennessee Valley Authority supporting development of systems using GIS to automate workflows.
As a Senior Solution Engineer within Esri Inc, Jo has a detailed understanding across the breadth of the ArcGIS Platform and in the use and application of developer APIs. While providing direct support across National Government her focus is on the Defence and Intelligence organizations. This requires her to understand their specific spatial requirements and constraints and then to deploy and apply solutions based on the ArcGIS platform to address their needs. Jo regularly presents at the main plenary sessions during major GIS Conferences using her knowledge and experience to promote the value of GIS in providing real time solutions to business needs.

Milquiades Walther-Rodriguez,
Non-US Government Solution Engineer, Esri Inc.

Milquiades has over 10 years of experience working with GIS in the defense and intelligence community. First, as an imagery intelligence analyst for the United States Navy, specifically supporting Navy Seal missions around the world with 2nd and 3rd phase Imagery, terrain and all-source analysis. As a DOD contractor Milquiades performed two separate tours to Afghanistan with Marine units as an Imagery/ Full Motion Video analyst supporting real-time counter-terrorism supporting coalition forces. Milquiades also worked in the commercial sector as a project manager for an Aerial Photography company collecting and delivering high volume, high resolution imagery for local governments in the U.S. Milquiades is currently the Esri National Government technical lead for the Americas, covering Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America advising the US and Internationals Defense, Intelligence, Public Safety and Law Enforcement communities on developing and implementing enterprise geospatial systems.
