Job Summary
As a Technical Support specialist, you will have the opportunity to perform all aspects of Technical Support related to the normal day-to-day requests of Systematics’ customers regarding Installation and Licensing.. In this position you will be supporting our customers via phone, email, and other methods. Training and hands on learning is provided.  
Aside from day-to-day responsibilities of troubleshooting and resolving customers' installation and licensing issues, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset by participating in projects and working with different areas of the organization. This will help you to prepare for the next step in your career at Systematics. 
Responsibilities
Technical Support 

The majority of time will be spent troubleshooting both internal and external customer requests via the phone, email and web. 
Troubleshooting work will be span in two major platforms: MATLAB & Simulink.  
Be a voice for our customers within Systematics by providing insight into the customer experience.  

Project related activities 

Projects will be assigned based on career objectives, interests, and departmental needs. 
Will be responsible for: identifying and implementing ideas for process and policy improvements; writing and reviewing solutions; and participating on cross-functional teams 

Teaming activities 

Collaborate with team members. 
Decision making, consensus building, conflict resolution, and problem solving on team related issues. 
Provide input/feedback that defines solutions for technical issues encountered by the rest of the team. 

Minimum Qualifications

A student at a faculty of Electrical  Engineering (year 2 or 3)
Experience in working with MATLAB

Responsibilities

Managing a team of Application Engineers in Communication, Electronics and Semiconductors domains.
Collaborate with sales representatives, and marketing in creating and executing an overall account development plan.
Engage with prospective customers (from engineers to executives) to understand their workflows and recommend effective solutions.
Prepare and deliver demonstrations that highlight how MATLAB & Simulink technology address customer R&D workflow
Advocate for the future direction of MathWorks products based on customer interactions.
 

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and ~ 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience) is required.
PhD degree - An advantage.
Leading experience - An advantage.

Aerospace, radar, communication system, or related industry experience
Great verbal and written communication skills
Experience with MathWorks products (MATLAB, Simulink, or Stateflow) or other simulation software
 

Additional Qualifications
Experience in any of the following is a plus:

R&D methodologies (e.g. Model-Based Design, Agile)
Customer-facing experience
Antenna design, RF front-end or back-end development
Signal Processing and data analysis
Model-Based Engineering
Experience with ICs e.g., ASIC, RFSoC, FPGA, MMIC
Languages e.g., HDL, C/C++, Assembler
Aerospace industry and certification processes
