Systematics GIS solutions, based on leading ESRI technology, enable integration of the spatial dimension in the organizational information systems to support work flows and improve decision-making process

Role definition:

  • Full responsibility for revenues in GIS business unit: meeting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and driving revenue growth
  • Work with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of all sales and Inside sales team
  • Business development: expanding the portfolio of services and products, expanding
    collaborations with business partners
  • Ongoing business and professional relationships with the software vendors and
    integrators
  • Defining and implementing pricing strategy (e.g. responding to RFPs)
  • Managing the funnel of sales opportunities and Key Performance Indicators
  • Work with organizational CRM and BI systems

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience as successful managing sales team, achieving aggressive targets and
    significant growth rate
  • Sales experience in the GIS domain or in similar fields such as BI, BA ,…
  •  Selling enterprise systems and integration services in the government, defense,
    infrastructure municipal and high-tech segments – mandatory
  • Familiarity with the Israeli IT market – mandatory
  • First academic degree, preferably in GIS, Industrial Engineering, Geoinformatics, a
    Master's degree in computer science or business administration

You will collaborate with Systematics and MathWorks teams spanning Sales, Marketing, and Development to demonstrate the benefits of including MATLAB and Simulink in the customer’s process of designing, developing, and deploying a solution. Application Engineers could develop technical expertise in many MathWorks technologies, e.g. Artificial Intelligence, expand their industry knowledge, work on cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with engineers and scientists to understand their project goals and recommend effective technical solutions
  • Develop and present proofs-of-concept in MATLAB and Simulink to prospective customers to demonstrate how the software would satisfy their project requirements
  • Deliver seminars and webinars that build awareness of the capabilities and value of MathWorks products and services
  • Build long-term relationships with strategic customers to ensure their continued success with MathWorks solutions
  • Partner with Sales to serve as a trusted advisor to key customers, helping to address their critical technology and business issues
  • Participate in defining annual marketing plan and prepare content accordingly
  • Provide Technical Support, Training and Consulting services

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Bio-Medical, Mechanical, Computer)
  • Practical knowledge and experience in algorithm design in at least one of the following domains: signal processing, image processing, AI, data science, machine learning, deep learning, communication systems
